IITs are well known for offering various engineering programs that include civil engineering, computer science engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering and more. Candidates need to pass 10 + 2 examinations with Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as main subjects. After appearing in JEE Main and JEE Advanced examinations, one must appear in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling.
