1. Project Overview

Tinplate Computer Training Center invites proposals for the design and development of a comprehensive Accounting Web and Mobile Application similar in functionality and structure to Zoho Books. This application will help small and medium businesses manage their daily accounting operations, automate financial transactions, and generate real-time financial reports.

The system will include a web-based admin portal and a mobile application to ensure seamless accounting management across devices. The solution should be scalable, secure, and tailored for Indian accounting standards including GST compliance.

2. Project Objectives

The main objectives of this project are:

• To develop a user-friendly accounting system for day-to-day business transactions.

• To automate invoice generation, payment tracking, and expense management.

• To provide real-time financial reports and analytics.

• To ensure GST-ready accounting with tax calculations.

• To enable multi-user and multi-organization support.

• To provide mobile access for on-the-go accounting tasks.

  • Create quotations, sales orders, and GST-compliant invoices.

  • Purchase orders, bills, and vendor payments.

• Expense Management

  • Record expenses with categories and attachments.

• Inventory Management

  • Stock in/out, low-stock alerts, item valuation.

• Banking & Reconciliation

  • Bank and cash account management.

  • Bank reconciliation features.

• GST & Tax Management

  • GST rates, HSN/SAC codes, and tax reports.

• Financial Reports

  • Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow.

  • Customer and Vendor aging reports.

B. Mobile Application Features

• Secure login and real-time sync with the web system.

• Create and send invoices directly from mobile.

• Record expenses and upload receipts.

• View customer balances and payment status.

• Dashboard with daily financial summary.

4. Technical Requirements

• Frontend (Web): React / Angular

• Backend: Node.js / Django / Laravel

• Database: MySQL / PostgreSQL

• Mobile App: Flutter / React Native / Kotlin

• Security: JWT authentication, SSL encryption

• Hosting: Cloud-based servers.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights to the software, source code, and related documentation shall be owned by Tinplate Computer Training Center after successful project completion.
