About the Examination

When to Apply ? Registration Starts in the Month of December for Exams to be conducted in the Month of January, February & March. Registration Starts in the Month of June for Exams to be conducted in the Month of July, August & September. Who Can Apply ? 1. For Secondary - Students who have Passed /Failed in 10th. 2. Students who have failed in Class 10th, can Appear for All Subjects immediately. 3. Students who have Passed Class 10th, may Appear to Improve their Marks in any Specific Subject. 4. JEE Aspirants who have Passed 12th, but have Scored less than 75%. 5. NEET Aspirants who have Passed 12th, but have Scored less than 50%, or 60% (Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS). 6. Students who have Passed 12th with PCM and wish to Add Biology as their Additional Subject to Apply for NEET. 7. Students who have Passes 12th with Arts / Commerce can Apply for Additional Subjects to gain Eligibility for Competitive Exams. 8. Hindi Medium Students who did not have English at Board Level can Apply. What are the Documents Required ? 1. Scanned Copy of Class 10th/12th Marksheet or Failed Marksheet of Class last attended. 2. Scanned Copy of Aadhar Card (Both Front & Back). 3. Scanned Photo / Captured Photograph in Formal Dress. Caps/ Spectacles are Not Allowed. 4. Scanned Copy of Signature written on a White Paper. 5. Scanned Copy of Water Bill / Electricity Bill as Address Proof. 6. Scanned Copy of Caste Certificate, if Applicable. Can i Re-Appear for Class 10th or 12th exam ? 1. If You Have Scored Well. Do Not Appear for More than 4 Subjects while Appearing for On-Demand Examination. Only Appear for Failed Subjects. 2. Do Not Re-Appear for All Subjects of Class 10 & 12. If you are Score Less, the Score remains with you. Your Class 10th or 12th Final Marksheet is Submitted in Original to NIOS.
